Is Wardn free?
Yes. Verification, anti-raid, moderation, tickets, levels and welcome messages are free for every server, with no time limit. Premium adds restoring members, server backups, Tickets Pro and more for £5 a month or £50 a year per server.
Why does Wardn need these permissions?
Each permission runs a feature: Ban Members for /ban, Manage Roles for verification and reaction roles, Manage Server to pause invites during a raid, and so on. Wardn never asks for Administrator. See every permission, what Wardn uses it for and what stops working without it.
Will it clash with my other bots?
Usually not. Wardn uses slash commands, and its text commands use the + prefix, which you can change in the dashboard. If another bot already does a job, switch that feature off in Wardn so members don't get it twice. Every feature, and every single command, can be switched off per server.
What happens to my data if I remove Wardn?
Your server's settings are kept, so if you add Wardn back everything is as you left it. Ticket history and transcripts, and any Commerce records, are deleted 30 days after Wardn leaves unless it's added back. To have everything deleted sooner, email privacy@impto.tech. Removing Wardn doesn't cancel Premium, so cancel it in the dashboard first. Members' restore opt-ins are kept for 6 months so you can still restore, then deleted; members can delete theirs any time with /restore forget. See the privacy policy.
Can I switch from MEE6, Dyno or Carl-bot?
Yes. There's no automatic import, so you set Wardn up fresh: the Setup page in the dashboard switches on the features that fit your server and creates the channels and roles they need. Then switch the same features off in your old bot, or remove it. You can move one feature at a time.
How does member restore protect people's privacy?
Members are only stored if they tick the box to be added back when they verify. It's optional, and they're verified either way. Their Discord sign-in is stored encrypted, used only to add them back to that community's server, and deleted when they run /restore forget or remove Wardn's access in Discord, or 6 months after Wardn leaves that server. Who runs Wardn, and can I cancel Premium anytime?
Wardn is a small, independent product from impto.tech in the UK. It's in beta, supported directly by its founder, and you can get help in the Wardn Discord server. You can cancel Premium anytime from the dashboard. It stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, then the server goes back to the free plan with its settings kept.
